Validate your experience

Have you acquired considerable experience in your workplace or in the context of activities not related to your work? Do you want to validate this experience to earn a formal qualification that acknowledges your skills?

The validation of non-formal and informal learning (Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience - VAE) is a scheme for allowing professional and personal experience to be recognised with a view to obtaining a qualification or partial validation, gaining access to a training path, or being partially exempted from certain parts of a programme of studies.

The scheme applies to certificates and diplomas in general secondary education, vocational training, the master craftsman's certificate, and higher education qualifications.

A number of conditions apply to VAE. The procedure to be followed and the competent body depends on the qualification sought.

The INFPC organises free VAE information sessions on a twice-yearly basis.
