The project to create a CVET Observatory in Luxembourg
fulfils the wish of the government and the unions build a minute
knowledge of the statistics and to produce reliable, qualitative analyses
related to the subject of training and education.
The aim is to throw useful light on both public politics
and private strategies. In fact, a minute analysis that gives at the same
time both an educational point of view and an economic point of view, will
contribute to the establishment of a better balance between the skills
required by the work market-place, and the skills supplied by the basic
education system and/or further education.
