Co-funding legislation

The INFPC constitutes the reference body, delegated by the Ministry
of National Education and Vocational Training for the instruction of
the co-funding applications.
In fact the law allows companies that are legally established in
Luxembourg to benefit from financial assistance equal to 10% net of tax of the
annual amount invested in CVT. In addition the INFPC provides the educational
and informational support to companies faced with the difficulty of drawing up
their applications in accordance with the law.
Examination of the co-funding
applications |
As reporter-secretary, the INFPC directs requests for
co-funding applications submitted by companies. This task consists in
a qualitative and quantitative compliance analysis with reference to the
eligibility criteria set by the legislation.
Once the application has been analysed, the INFPC submits
its conclusions to the advisory committee. This then communicates its
findings to the Ministry of National Education and
Vocational Training who takes the final decision.

Between 2000 and 2006, the INFPC examinated
2.300 co-funding requests resulting in a total grant of 120
millions euros.

Training

|
The INFPC offers a training course ‘Co-funding of CVT in
the company’ adressed to all those who are in charge of CVT in the
company.
This training, lasting one day, it is based on theoretical
foundations and deals with a practical case study in order to get a grasp
on the procedure that gives access to the state co-funding.
The INFPC also offers on demand customized training
sessions focussing on groups or companies needs.

|
Update of tools related to legislation |
In order to ease the task for companies, the INFPC regularly
revises the documents that are required to apply for the co-funding, such
as application forms and explanatory notice.
-
The application forms that must be
completed by companies.
-
The explanatory notice which provides
information related to the indicators that must be considered, the
documents to be supplied, the formulas to be applied and the
sections to be completed.

Individual advisory |
The INFPC offers a very pragmatic approach to small
companies. In fact during a brief interview with the company's
director or training manager, an INFPC consultant exposes and explains the
procedure and advantages (for the specific company) to introduce a
state co-funding application.
